Tracking Your Season: Stats, Achievements, and the Ledger

Stats

Your Stats page is built from rounds you actually hosted — the rounds you created, not just any round you happened to play in. It's the closest thing to a personal scoring record: trends across your own rounds over time, not a mixed bag that includes rounds someone else ran.

Ledger (Bank)

The Ledger tracks money — what you've won and lost across every game you've played, rolled up into a running total. For a full member or trial account, this is scoped to rounds you hosted, same as Stats; for a watcher account, it reflects every round you've participated in, since a watcher's whole relationship to the app is participation rather than hosting.

Achievements

Milestones and badges — round counts, scoring feats, streaks — follow the same scoping logic as the Ledger. It's meant to reward the golf you're actually playing, whoever ran the round, if you're on a watcher account; hosts get a view centered on the rounds they've personally run.

Analytics

Deeper trend breakdowns of your scoring over time — same underlying round set as the Ledger and Achievements, just sliced differently (by course, by game type, by handicap trend) for anyone who wants to go past the surface-level numbers.

Why the scoping is different for hosts vs. watchers

This isn't an oversight — it's deliberate. A host's most meaningful number is the rounds they personally ran, since that's the golf they're actually responsible for tracking. A watcher's meaningful number is every round they showed up and played in, since "hosted by me" isn't a category that applies to a watcher account yet. Either way, the numbers you see are built from real rounds you were actually part of — never a directory of rounds you had nothing to do with.

Your rounds history, separately

Separate from all of the above, your Rounds hub keeps three plain lists: rounds you've hosted, rounds you've played in that someone else hosted, and rounds you've only watched. That's where to go if you're looking for a specific past round rather than an aggregated stat — the Stats/Ledger/Achievements tabs are about trends, the Rounds hub is your actual history.
