📋Quota (Multi Group)

How It Works

Every player is assigned a personal quota before the round based on their handicap. The standard formula is 36 minus the player's handicap (e.g. a 12-handicapper has a quota of 24). Players then earn Stableford points on every hole: double eagle = 5, eagle = 4, birdie = 3, par = 2, bogey = 1, double bogey or worse = 0.

Beating Your Quota

The goal is to exceed your quota by as many points as possible. A player who finishes with 28 Stableford points against a quota of 24 has beaten it by 4. The player who beats their quota by the most wins — not the highest absolute Stableford total.

Options & Variations

Quota is a League (multi-group) event game, played individually across the whole field. The shared entry fee funds a purse, with an optional rake/house cut, then pays the top finishers on a sliding scale (ties split). Events can also award season order-of-merit points by finish position. The points-per-result scale is configurable.

Availability

Fully scorable inside a League event — configure it there under a season's event games. It can't run as a single casual round on its own (it needs the League's shared field and purse), so it always shows as League Only in the standard game picker.

Pro Tips

• Know your quota before you tee off — it changes how aggressively you play each hole.
• A birdie on a tough hole is worth more than a par on an easy one. Hunt the right holes.
• If you're already well ahead of quota late in the round, take risks — extra points above quota win the pot.
