Points-based competition across any size field
Each player earns Stableford points on every hole based on their net score vs. par. Double eagle: 5 pts. Eagle: 4 pts. Birdie: 3 pts. Par: 2 pts. Bogey: 1 pt. Double bogey or worse: 0 pts. The player with the most points across the full field wins.
The format is ideal for large fields because a bad hole simply scores 0 — it doesn't destroy your round the way it would in stroke play. Players stay competitive longer, and pace of play is faster since there's no reason to grind out a snowman.
A League (multi-group) event game, played individually. The points-per-result map is configurable (use the standard 5/4/3/2/1/0 scale or a modified scale that rewards eagles/birdies more and penalizes bogeys). Payout type can be Points or Winner Takes All. The shared entry fee funds a sliding-scale purse (ties split, optional rake/house cut); season order-of-merit points can be awarded by finish.
Fully scorable inside a League event — configure it there under a season's event games. It can't run as a single casual round on its own (it needs the League's shared field and purse), so it always shows as League Only in the standard game picker (use the single-round Stableford game for one group instead).
